FTA on 119

Just came from Lyngsat, and saw a few FTA channels. Networks, NASA and a few others.
My question is can I get these with a pizza pan circular, or do I need a 1.2 mtr with a linear, a pizza pan with a linear or ???

I think pizza will get you Nasa, and maybe gol, but that's about it. Look at the what can I get with an 18 inch thread in faq.

a smaller dish (18") will get NASA & Angel One

Gol & the audio channels are scrambled and those "networks" (from Miami) you need to be in the spotbeam (South Florida)

I had to try it , lol, but the linear lnb doesnt pick up too many channels on circular. I switched to 11250 or 11200 LO freq and got 69 channels of scrambled stuff. Didnt even get dish's nasa. Circ sats suck.

Yeah I was afraid of that, I was after those networks....

If you have a circ lnbf to try, go for it. Scanning circular with alinear lnb is going to miss a lot anyway because of the freq difference.
