FTA Subscription is an oxymoron. The only thing you would subscribe to requires the providers equipment, no FTA receivers.

Not necessary to buy a subscription. If you get a dish and FTA receiver you can watch what is 'in the clear' for free.

Thank You. I can scan all 4 of my 6 foot dishes but all the channels are scrambled. I am beating my head against the wall.

Which satellites/channels are you scanning for and what receiver(s) are you scanning them with?

oneseanbean you have been misled by the hacker crowd. FTA is NOT the same as hacking Dish network to avoid paying for TV. Trying to steal paid TV, as you are well aware of, is illegal and not condoned on this forum.
If you wish to discuss true FTA then you are welcome to. Continuing to discuss hacking or (Theft of Service) will get you banned from this site.
