At your location, you should be able to get a weather feed OTA from either KC or St Joe with just a TV antenna

AccuWeather's C-Band feed is encrypted, while WeatherNation uses fiber/IP delivery.

Canada's Weather Network and MeteoMedia might still have FTA C-Band feeds on Anik F3 at 118.8


I don't know exactly where you are in the KC/St Joseph's area, but If you're in range of KNPN-LD's RF 15 signal, they have a local news/weather channel on 26.3, while KCKS-LD and KMJC-LD have WeatherNation on 25.6
