It looked like a strobe effect when the camera paned. The problem was apparently with the link from Denver, because all of the commercials were OK.

Oh goodie! The fact that ABC's Denver affiliate uses a gerbil cage for HD broadcasting is now apparent to the whole country. In Denver, the game was totally unwatchable in HD.

Those appalled by this cheesy performance should email ABC and complain. Maybe if some heat came down on KMGH-DT (Denver) from above, they would get off their dead butts and do something to make progress on the road to DTV conversion. So far, the FCC has allowed them to get by spending $20/month on their low power DTV transition "effort". More money for the shareholders, but what a "black eye" now for ABC's MNF reputation.

Oh well, ABC won't have MNF after this year, so maybe they don't care either.

Definitely ABC national's fault

It was definitely an uplink issue from the stadium. the broadcast switched from HD to that wierd upscanned crap they do, then back to HD- strobing, and finally back to HD... get it together ABC!
