I am getting the channels on 11.720 but i don't get anything on 11.800 nothing on the signal meter either. On 11.720 i register a 69. Lyngsat says this transponder is active, is this so. I have a 10" dish and am using A COOLSAT 6000

Thanks

I assume a 10 foot dish ;)

I have a sneaking suspicion you aint on G10

G13 (127W) has a data TP at 11718 and has a symbol rate close to the G10 one...do a blind scan and select ALL. If you get 3 scrambled channels as "Channel 1, Channel 2 & Channel 3" then you most definitelly are on 127W and would need to move the dish 4 degrees east

interesting...11800 is usually just as strong as 11720. Bring up 11800 and try and bump the dish e or w and see if it locks

Does it lock any other transponders?

I tried that yesterday but I will try it again I also tried adjusting the skew. I lock on some of the other transponders. I am going to try my other reciever a coolsat 5000 tonight.

11800 is now weaker than 11720. Your dish may need an alignment or something isn't set up right on the Coolsat.

turned it on today and signal was there, I made no adjustments or changes. Could the transponder been down for a couple of days?

No it hasn't been down. You may have had local weather conditions or interference causing issues.

I'm currently showing on 11720 56 +/- 1, 11800 38 +/- 3. I'm a long ways east of that satellite,
Port Hope................. 43 56.36' N x 78 17.43' W
I have had timer recordings this week on 11720, and they all are fine. Not like two weeks ago...... did not have one recording without breakup/
