"Gatti vs Leija" Free on HBO, $39.99 in Canada on BEV

Well it seems that Canadians are getting beeped again! The boxing match "Gatti vs Leija" that will be shown tomorrow night on HBO and in HD no less will be a $39.99 hit to Canadians on BEV. To make matters worse, it will be SD not HD! I called BEV to complain about this and was told it was because "We are in Canada"!

The thing is she was right, in Canada we are not allowed to have HBO so we can get fleeced for a $39.99 charge! Well my $$ are staying in my pocket and I have emailed the CRTC about our being gouged because we are in Canada. Probably won't help but I am ticked!

Oh yes you do pay a subscription for the channel, but less than $40 CAD for we have to pay for one event!
