selling a used geoforce 8800gt used for 2 months max bought in october, but I took my time building my system and then really didnt use it alot and ended up giving it to my grandma (and unless she games on crysis I dont think she will need this ) asking 65 shipped, it comes in orginial box, with the svideo adpater, Awesome card, worked flawlessly!

Van I cant answer that as I never used the 8600 but I can tell you Crysis on high was not a problem at 1440 x 900 for me.

OT... just built a Quad Core AMD with a 9600 NVidia card, 2 TB of storage. Wonder how well this machine would perform folding. Can you fold on the GPU and the 4 cores at the same time?

That is an affirmative. If you are running Windows, you would need the SMP client to run all 4 cores. You can download the SMP client and the GPU client here. I recommend the MPICH version.

has a louder fan yes, but really I didnt notice it much just because of how my computer area is setup.
