Season premiere tonight. I liked the storyline.

Overall I liked it. Great cast. What I didn't like was turning it into a cookie cutter sitcom with a laugh track. I don't like being told when to laugh. You'll understand.

(You'll have to watch the episode to understand, but it is funny in its own unusual way)

I don't see where they can go with this show. It just feels like Young Sheldon from a different perspective. Still set back in the 90s past and you know the marriage doesn't work out, since he is divorced in the future. I just don't see where they can go with this show. This is definitely not the Big Bang Theory quality of humor, so the laugh track isn't needed.

I can agree with all of that. Especially the special brother. He is really not needed. Already had Sheldon like that. What are the chances that two southeast Texas families, not related by blood, both have special sons like this in the same small town of Medford? Something in the water I guess.
