GEOSATpro HDVR1200 -- random lockups

I've been waiting for a new firmware release as was mentioned in the previous thread.

I'm still getting frequent lockups/freezes that require a power cycle to undo.
No big deal, just a little annoying

Anyone else having any problems with this receiver? Maybe it's just the way I use it??

Other than that, I like it, and now use it as my main Ku Receiver, controlling the HH90 motor attached to the Inverto Black Ultra LNBF on the WSI9036ne dish.

The X2 Premium HD that uses the same chipset has a tendency to lock up if you feed it too many commands too quickly. Perhaps it's got the same issue.

No, that's not it. I have both receivers, love them both.
I wonder if X2 firmware will work in the HDVR1200?? -- I'd try it if I knew I could restore it if it didn't work... anybody know???

Just went back and bumped up the original thread where I described what was/is happening, it's the same issue.
