Getting Signed Up As New Customer

Wanted to see if you guys would know anything about this. I'm trying to get the free hd-dvr deal from Dish but have been a customer for over 2 years so obviously I can't get a new customer deal. I live with my girlfriend and her name isn't on any of the dish network stuff. If I canceled my service and she signed up under her name would she get the new customer deal?

Have her call DISH and apply if she is a new customer then you can quit.

If it is the same address, you will need to quit first as if you are moving. Then she can come in a few days later.

or just have her call and apply before you quit to make sure she gets approved. You will have to give them a different phone number than you currently use (cell phone is fine) and then on the address, add an apartment number to the end of it.
