Going from HWS to Hopper 3- Wally question

My Joey is quite slow to react in comparison to the main Hopper unit (especially after updated software).

Will the Wally respond faster with the new H3?

Actually you can't mix a Wally with an H3 in that manner; however, when you upgrade to an H3, the upgrade will include swapping your existing original Joeys with the newer Joey 2 model. The Joey 2 is still not a speed demon by any stretch, but it is much more usable than the Joey 1.

okay thanks- I guess I meant Joey 2. That's too bad, I like to micro FF through golf and it's tough with the old Joey and in particular with the new "update" along with new 15x minimum vs 4x. Why the hell did they drop that!!!???

The new software puts me on the edge of leaving Dish and going antenna but I just have to have the Golf channel

You are far from the only one around here who misses 4X. I used it frequently for sports as well, and still miss it.
