Google selling Unlocked Galaxy Nexus for $399

Just as the title states, Google is selling an unlocked version of their galaxy nexus phone for $399. Overall, it's a pretty good phone, just wish it was capable of doing LTE.

Doesn't appear to be available for VZW, at least through Google's store.

I have to ask, what's the point of an "unlocked" CDMA phone ? Not much is there ?

I probably would have purchased this if not for my recent Skyrocket purchase. Buying an LTE phone feels like a faceslap at this point considering my daughter will probably be in kindergarten before LTE makes it's way over to CT..

That's a very good price.

Considering that most top tier smartphones have an ETF of $250-300 it might even be better than I realize.

My son went for this deal. He likes the "no bloat" os he got direct and the fact that the phone will get the os updates first. He has been an iPhone user since the original but decided he wanted to go to Android to match his Transformer pad which he really likes. He transferred all but a few songs from his iPhone over. He is extremely happy that he did it - he loves the phone.
