we got it when HD was becoming a thing. i remember them installing a triple LNB dish with a winegard antenna. that box was 999.99. they gave it us for 299.99 since the idiots couldn't find a stud on the house at the time and when ever the wind blew half of the channels would be in the livingroom and the other half would be in the bedroom. that company went out... ironwood commucationsWow! Lol I actually used to have an old tivo dtv thing i found at goodwill a while back. Had no use for it so I just turned it into an Excel 7500 U-DVR thing
i wonder if they would activate itWow! Lol I actually used to have an old tivo dtv thing i found at goodwill a while back. Had no use for it so I just turned it into an Excel 7500 U-DVR thing

LOL that would be a nightmare. they said we could reactivate the HS-17 4k mini and the gemini box. and that we owned it, then someone said it's a case by case basis. i don't even want to go there LOLProbably lol
I had a Magnavox badged one. Weighed something like 210 lbs, The component input was flakey on it sometimes it just went berserk. I finally trashed it after I bought a Toshiba 55" RPCRT. After 4 or 5 years the inputs started going bad on it too. Now my 65" Samsung 2015 (pre HDR) flat screen is still running strong and I can watch the Dish 540-XX channels if I record them on the H3 then start play back (cancel the this TV can't display drivel) and it does 4K pretty well. If it ever goes bad I'll get a 75" HDR capable flat screen - they are selling for about $500 now days.2I owned the Dish TV. It was an RCA 34" CRT. It was huge and weighed a ton. But it was my first High Definition unit.

My crappy samsung led tv has absolute garbage hdmi inputs on it. The hdmi1 port completely broke and the audio left port also just snapped off the back of the thing. Tv has zero bass so when you want to listen to music it makes a speaker on a landline phone look like 100 bucks....SamsungQualityI had a Magnavox badged one.
