Granite Broadcast Group and Dish Network

Hi,

I live in Syracuse, NY, and was wondering if Dish and Granite have a history of bad blood about carrying their station(s). For some reason they will not carry our local CBS (WTVH) in HD, however D* does. They also do not carry WKBW 7 in HD for Buffalo, BUT they carry their Fresno NBC affiliate in HD. Any info on this would be appreciated.

There are several groups other than Granite that are not on Dish's HD tier. The common denominator is Dish, not Granite, Lin, Freedom, etc.

Here in Duluth, MN Dish carries both NBC KBJR (owned by Granite) and CBS KDLH (owned by.......well Granite...sort of...) in HD

There are several groups other than Granite that are not on Dish's HD tier. The common denominator is Dish, not Granite, Lin, Freedom, etc.

Its definitely dish, because D*, TWC and FIOS all has wkbw-7 (granite) in HD, but not Charlie.
