Ground Strap

The power meter ground is about 50 foot away, I was going to go to 8' rod by mast and separate 50' line from rod to meter, is this OK?

So, are you saying you are going to drive another ground rod next to the dish (which it'll have a wire to) and then another wire directly to the house ground rod by the power meter?

If so, yes, that's acceptable, but each wire should be bonded to each other on the screw they tighten down with. Make sure you are making very good and strong connections. The larger the wire the better. I used 6 gauge solid copper for mine.

YES provided that the antenna rod is bonded to the entrance rod via a buried #6 bare copper bonding jumper
IIRC, it doesn't matter whether the wire is insulated or not. It does need to be protected from corrosion and physical damage. NEC 250.64(B) is a tricky one.
