guide issues

[hey]

having a few guide issues for a week+

many shows do not have episode names and/or numbers as they used to
some of them have reverted back to old version of numbers (i.e. episode 57 instead of S4 Ep5)
some shows/movies do not have the pictures as they used to
Nightline every night gives info of "Charlie Sheen" and skips it as a repeat
a few program names have changed - I've seen this before, but the timers seemed to work independently of the show name change

what is going on?

does any guide or other information come from customer's internet? I only ask because my internet has been more intermittent than usual lately and I wonder of that is the culprit?

Or is my internet only for on demand and dish anywhere streaming?

also, I get a lot more "to be announced" than I used to

and if I set it to record a movie I already had, it would know to skip it, now it will rerecord it

again,

The guide only comes from the satellite.
