Guide Symbols, what do they mean?

When setting up recordings, I often see symbols that look like a clock, in green, purple and yellow. I also sometimes see a black circle with a yellow X. What do these mean?

When setting up recordings, I often see symbols that look like a clock, in green, purple and yellow. I also sometimes see a black circle with a yellow X. What do these mean?

They indicate the tuner the timer is set to record on. The circle may be the skipped timer icon, I can't remember off the top of my head,

they are timers that you have set, the 1 with the line through it means either it is not a new episode or there is another timer set for recording at a later time.

The yellow x means that the show is skipped due to conflict or it exists in the DVR. All is clear if you highlight a program on the daily schedule (with show skipped on, of course).
