I am having trouble getting my TV and my HD receiver to play nice in regards to Closed Captions. What I want and what I had before I switched to HD was captions only displaying (when available) if the sound was muted.
I can not seem to set this as an option using my HD Receiver (H21-200). I seem to only be able to turn captions On or Off (via the Display menu). My TV (Pioneer 5080) has the option to set the captions on only if muted, but that only seems to work if I have the TV input set to Antenna.
Can any one confirm that these are my only options, or is there something I am missing to accomplish my end goal?
