So far only thing I've noticed is the AM21 still remains powered on when powering down the receiver.:( So far I haven't lost video when changing channels.:)

Thanks,
LGM

Spoke too soon.:( Lost video when switching channels twice last night. No other receivers in the house have the problem. There's no error message, just randomly when changing channels, the screen goes to a "gray" screen.

At that point no other channels will come in, menu and search screens work fine. Only way to clear it up is to restart. I've moved the receiver to other places in the house, same issue. It is the only h23-600 in the house, the rest are 11 series, and an hr23 series.

Not sure if it's a bad receiver, but I don't recall having the problem before I started applying the CE updates. I guess my next move is to re apply the "national" release and see if it continues to happen.

Thanks for listening,

L.G.M.

H23-600

I had the same thing happen with one of my H23-600's. It just freezes up on the searching for satellite and won't let me do anything until I restart. It has happened once since Friday night. It still is more stable than the national release though.

The strange thing with mine is there's nothing - no error message at all. The screen just goes gray. Totally blank. No searching messages or anything else. I know it's not frozen because the guide and menu buttons still operate.

Changing channels to one on a different sat doesn't have any affect. I had a case a few releases ago that resulted in 721 errors at random times. This is similar, but no error messages of any kind.

I hate to go back to the national release, because I'm using an AM21 for OTA locals. I will just for testing to rule out a faulty box.

Thanks,

L.G.M.
