My H3 started rebooting over and over the other day. It would boot up and run about one minute then reboot again. I called Dish and they sent me a replacement receiver. I am 80 years old and did not think I could replace it myself so I had a tech come out and replace it for me.

Make sure your replacement Hopper is plugged directly into a wall outlet. I had the same problem with the Hopper plugged into a surge suppressor. One I plugged it into the wall outlet the problem was resolved.
It is still plugged into a surge suppressor that it has been plugged into ever since I got it. I don't think this was the cause. The old H3 was the same one I got when they first came out.
