Have had 1 western digital usb EHD for a while connected to a usb hub plugged into the usb 2 port on my H3 no issues move to and from and watch from performs flawlessly. Fast forward to yesterday I had ordered another identical drive as the first one is filling up it arrives and I give it most of the day to acclimate to my home temp etc plug it into the hub the H3 sees a new drive and formats it all good until I go to move a program to the new drive and it thinks for a minute then says failed so I unplug both drives and never receive the message saying drive removed restarted H3 plugged new drive in and was able to move programs to it successfully but I plug in the original and now I can not move to the original drive just the new one unplugged both and the H3 still thinks both are still plugged in. To me it sounds like support for usb is poor on the H3's os as it sounds like the hub is confusing the os any thoughts?
