Hallmark Guide missing 4th of July White House

Hallmark Channel 185 is scheduled to broadcast "4th of July White House Concert" on July 4th from 8-9:30 PM. Earlier the guide showed this event from 8-8:30 PM in the Hopper3 guide so I setup a timer and extended the timer for 30 minutes. Now the guide shows "To be Announced" from 8-8:30 PM and "Last Man Standing" from 8:30-9 PM. As a result the timer does not show up in the schedule. I have programmed a manual timer for channel 185 from 8-9:30 PM and also programmed a timer for "To be Announced" with a 30 minute extension. Hopefully, one of my 3 timers will record this event.
I wonder if PBS pressured someone to delete the event from the guide since it competes with "A Capital 4th" at the same time on PBS. Of course I want to record both concerts.

This happened with the Boston Pops 4th of July special that is set to air on Bloomberg. It didn't show up in the guide until the other day. I just kept checking back every day and it finally appeared.

Thanks for your post. I added a timer for that program (channel 203 July 4th 8-11 PM). I tried to search "Boston Pops" and it did not find the program.

I see you are from Plain City. Ever visit Der Dutchman? Good restaurant. My parents live about 15 minutes from you.

I live halfway between Marysville and Plain City. I eat the Buffet at Der Dutchman a couple times per month.

The guide now shows "Special" and none of my 3 timers will record. I deleted my earlier timers and selected "Special" from the guide. It now shows up in the schedule. Hopefully, they will not change the guide again because I won't be home to make changes.

Can't you use the Dish app to check it shortly before it airs and set it to record if it did not stick?

My Dish Anywhere app will be useless since I won't have internet and Sprint service is limited where I will be.

As of yesterday evening, both the Hallmark program and the Bloomberg program were showing in my guide. But yeah, this business of Dish or someone changing the guide after people have set timers is a big steaming pile...
