Sounds like you may have a hard drive problem I would try to do a hard reboot unplug for 1 min then plug it back in and see if it ok when it finishes the reboot. If not you might also contact dish they might be able to force the unit to download the software again it could have been a bad download. My unit which is at L251 does not have that problem so its not a current software problem good luck.
