Has anyone used a pizza box dish on 2.4G WiFi?

a little off topic

Pop - I like Smiith's idea: 36" > 20" ! - :cool:

But if you are lacking LOS due to a hill, consider a remote repeater.
I've seen it done. Won't recommend a passive one, though it might work, too. - :up

Was thinking about a solar powered low power wi-fi repeater on that hill you can't see over.
Might bring wi-fi to your whole valley. - :eek:
...and a whole new business for you: sharing your connection - :eureka

I done five hops to get broadband to my house. It is possible if you want it bad enough. I could have put up a tower and got it done with just a few hops but there was no electricity at the site. 900 mhz is nice for NLOS (non line of site).
