Having off & on trouble with receiving some channels on 97W

Some times in day some channels play other times there’s no signal. If there is a pattern when signals are out, I am not aware of.

Ones that do work all the time that that I am aware of:

Positv 12052/V/22000

Smile of a Child 12032/V/22000

TBN TV12052/V/22000

Radio Turkey 11960/V/22000

Secret Deals 12177/V/23000V59 A60 P59

Have checked cable ends except LBN, It is more challenging.

Is there a place to start first?

This particular problem I have not run into.

I would definitely try to check that connector at lnbf too. Also, a kink in the coax or water intrusion can cause unpredictable attenuation of frequencies.

I just did a rescan of 97w the other day and there was no CNC World. I believe it has been gone for a while now. One other thing, I was watching one of the channels on 11842 the other day and suddenly it was gone then came back a few minutes later. This is the time of the year for sun outages but they also could have been doing work at the uplink facility. Hope you can figure it out.

Checked LBN F connector, put dielectric grease on all connectors.
Checked RG6 from house to dish for problems with multi meter.

Found RG6 is all solid copper, wish I had known that years ago with dish, I woud have changed the leads to LBN to copper instead of copper covered steel. It had two LBN's, I would switch the leads to other LBN, and change out leads in decent weather.

The system is working at the moment, have to wait to the next moment to check.

Would the microHD and PLL LBN be breaking down electronically to be causing problem?

Years ago I had my MicroHD start acting up. I reflashed the last firmware to it, and it fixed it.
