HBO STARZ suddenly appeared

I guess it started on Friday...I was browsing and found these packages were listed in my subscribed listings...and sure nuff when I tried them they worked.

Anyone know if folks in Ct. are getting these channels for the weekend for free? I know cable use to have these types of promotions. I just don't want to be charged for them. TIA.

No here in Newington. No HBO for me on VOOM< although HBO is free this weekend on Dish.

Could be he was looking at the guide in the 721. I noticed it was displaying other premium channels in the clear when you page forward or backward several hours at a time which weren't apart of the free preview weekend. The moment you attempt to tune to one of those or set a timer for it, you get the "call Dish Network now to add this package" popup.

During what hour on the weekend do they usually end the previews? I got a system activated late and noticed it still received the HBO channels (not knowing that the Cinemax channels were also free).
