I have Tivo and I got a message that HBOHD ans ShowtimeHD are now on channels 9430 and 9440. My guide still shows the old channels but Dish's site shows two ShowtimeHD channels. Anyone know what this might mean?

HBO HD and Showtime HD are being broadcasted from Satellites, 110 (where most people get it from) and 148 (where it originally was a couple of years ago). It also was on 61.5, but that got removed when then moved to 110.
On the 148 bird, the channels are:
HBO HD - 9440
Showtime HD - 9430
On the 110 bird, the channels are:
HBO HD - 9456
Showtime HD - 9460
If you have dish's pointing at both Satellites, then you will get all 4 channels (as I do right now). The 148 channels are a slightly less compressed as they are only 2 HD channels per TP instead of the ones at 110, which are 3 channels per TP.
