I recently made the move to the Dish Network HD world and was wondering if it is possible to get the HD signal into my media center PC via a PCI capture card.

The problem I have run into so far is all the TV cards that I have seen are have coax, s-video or composite inputs but the receiver I have only has outputs of HDMI and component :(

Is there a card out there that can take a HDMI or Component signal in and does MS Media Center support it?

Thanks for any help

None for less than $3,000.

Only solution I have found is the R-5000 from NextComWireless.com. Their modified Vip211 will capture the HDTV stream as it comes in and send it to your PC via USB 2.0 for only $900.

No recovery of pre-recorded streams but live streams can be recorded to your HD.
