I just signed my life away with a 2 year contract and got the HD-DVR, and a standard receiver.

Our house is two levels, the first one will have the HD-DVR, and the second has our bedroom which will have the standard receiver. I have a computer monitor that accepts PIP with video input, does anyone know if you can use both output types in either receiver easily so I can switch back and forth? Basically if my wife wants to sleep and I'm working on the computer, I can continue to watch my show on my monitor in PIP and turn off the other television upstairs.

yes, the outputs on the receivers are both live. i have a VIP 722 feeding a HDTV, another HDTV, one SD tv as well as my computer. now with that being said the two HDTV's can only watch the same channel at the same time and the other two watch the same channel on tuner two. i run my 722 in single mode though so i only get the same channel on all them but since i am the only one that watches that reciever it works for me.

Besides the obvious, am I being overcharged?
