I have Time Warner Cable's HD DVR (dual tuner) and want to save programs to a DVD recorder. Is this possible? If so, how?

You should be able to. Simply connect your recorder to one of the sets of outputs on the HD-DVR. Start playing back the program and start recording.... Blank DVDs cost $0.50 so I wouldn't hesitate to try it.

Your DVDs will NOT be high-definition.
