HD locals

I am scheduled for a Dish install on Aug 18th. I live in Peoria and am about 125 to 150 miles out from Chicago. If I "moved" to a Chicago address after signing up, will I be close enough to get the HD locals through Dish?

I'm not sure. I think 125 miles is pushing the outer range of the newer spot beams...

To get Chicago's locals in HD, you need to be in this area....

EDIT: Your SERVICE address has to be in that area. You also have to have a dish that can see the 129 satellite.

Chicago is full continental US (CONUS) coverage for HD locals on 129.

Sweet! I didn't know if the Chicago locals were CONUS or not.
