HD Recordings on an SD TV

I have a 622. Recently I went to watch a recording of an HD show on the TV2 output on my SD TV. It was like watching the show in full zoom mode, with portions of the display cut off. Does anyone know of anyway to watch an HD recording on an SD TV and still get the entire picture?

Yes, on an SDTV this will change between "Normal" and "Letterbox" modes. Letterbox actually shows the entire HD picture. Normal is a zoomed view.
