HD Sports PPV

Hey guys...

I am new to Dish HD, but I am wondering about HD PPV. I know HBO PPV is offering the Taylor/Hopkins rematch in HD. Has anyone heard if Dish is going to carry it? I haven't even found the SD listing for the fight from Dish, but I assume they will carry it. I am trying to find out, but no one at Dish seems to be able to answer the question. Planning a big party around this fight and need to know if I need to call Direct and get their HD package installed, because they are offering it.

Any help is appreciated.

Welcome to SatelliteGuys... have you tried the HBO website? Edit, I went there and could not find ppv...

HBO is offering it, I am trying to find out if Dish is going to carry it. I did a Google of it and I found a page on the Dish site that lists the fight, but it doesn't have specifics. Also, if you go to the Dish site and look around, you can't even find the fight. I am hoping the delay is that they are trying figure out what to do with it (SD, HD or both).

I will add DTV if I have to in order to get the fight.

Just heard back from Dish and here is the answer:

Thank you for your recent e-mail. Our Programming Department advised that Dish Network will carry the Hopkins vs. Taylor fight on 12/03/05 in both SD (channel 455) and HD (channel 9467).

921 Guide shows it Saturday Night on 9467... In HD...
