Comparing the Kabc feed to WLS's Feed of harry potter that I watched tonight, It doesnt look good. I am recording the superbowl twice for comparison. Looking at the feed that dish provides its a tad bit fuzzer than WLS (abc chicago). WLS's HD feed is damm good for being 1280 x 720p and looks very sweet. w/ 2 subchannels. we will see come for the big game tommorow

If you subb to the hd pack I would call up advanced tech and see why your not getting it, Im watching harry potter now.. Its in full DD 5.1 also

I would like to compare the nba games tommorow to see how we compare before the big game (harry potter doesnt cut it for me as it wasnt origionally filmed in hd)

Well you never know with Dish Network if they going make it mpeg 4. i used to work for them so i know what kinda stuff they can pull.

Superbowl HD is ON!

Couldn't sleep so turned on tv. Superbowl HD channel 240 is on both my 811 and 921. Don't know about west coast. Those getting east coast feed can rest until the Superbowl.

240-Abc-hd Is Up!!!! On To The Superbowl!!

WABC-HD from NY is up and running for the SupeBowl on channel 240. I switch between 240 and OTA WRAL-HD in Raleigh, NC and the picture on 240 is better? How can that be -- might be the SD feed from WABC is better looking then WRAL. We shall see when something in true HD is up. Right now I am watching Good Morning America. It is 8AM. WOOHOO:devil:

GMA is an HD production with lots of upconverts in it.

There are sometimes transfers which are not that great.

I guess you must be subscribed to the locals to get it. I'm in the Chicago DMA, have the HD Pack, supers & distant CBS & NBC, but no locals or AT package. No 250 here for me. I get ABC OTA from both CHicago & Milwaukee along with Comcast, so it won't affect me getting the game, I was just curious if I would get it. I guess not.
