HDMI Hookup

I need some help here. I hooked up my Directv HR-20 receiver to my new Samsung Plasma HD using the HDMI cord. When I went to the HDMI source on my tv it indicates no signal received.

So I attached the Component hook up and am getting my video that way.

Any thoughts as to why the HDMI is not working? Or is HDMI not enabled yet and I have to wait a bit into the future before it becomes active?

Nope, Samsung and HR20 are not best friends. I had the same issue. Try to force a software update on the HR-20 if it doesn't have the current version.

Thanks. I called Directv and they gave me the info for the software update. Will try it when I get home.
