On March 22 (1 pm edt), the PPV channels on F2 will be discontinued until the fall and replaced with HDNet (275) + WGN HD (294)

The PPV's were SD weren't they???? If so, they need to get rid of a ton of them for 2 HD Channels.

And why would they put WGN-HD at 294 between the Canadian English and French Channels? If they add more Canadian HD Channels, WGN-HD will REALLY be out of place.

It sounds like SC is about to need a massive channel renumbering.
 
Yes PPV 227 to 240 are going on hiatus.

There are 3 new French HD channels launching in April/May. The only 200 numbers left are 296/297/299

So renumbering will be required when 8PSK starts. I can imagine the 100,000s calls they will get from Legacy receiver subs who use the "parental lockouts' to create their IPG: "What happened to channel ...?"
