Ok so maybe he couldn’t dance, but if I were a betting man I would say that Mark Cuban can do the tango in court. It appears that the self made billionaire is getting ready to put on his dancing shoes again as he gets ready to take on DirecTV. The billionaire is upset with DirecT…

This dancing fool should have been upset when D* downrezzed this HDNet channels long ago. Instead, he sided with the perpetrators of HD-Lite (both D* and E*) since they continued to fill his coffers. Now that HD is going mainstream and it is no longer a premium service, Cuban had better get his subscription rates in-line with the subscription rates of other cables favorites like TBS HD, Lifetime Movie Network HD, Shopping Channel HD, etc.

Sorry, but you won't find any sympathy for VOOM or the HDNets from me....you guys had your opportunity to mass-market your HD channels, but you elected to keep them in the premium HD tier. I am not sure how much the the HDNets cost D*, but I believe the VOOM HD package costs each DishHD subscribers an additional $5 each month.

I hope D* shoves a cuban right up Cuban... If VOOM were smart, perhaps they could get all 15 of their channels on D* for a third of what D* was paying for HDNet and HDNet Movies.
