I was just checking out HDNews a short while ago and noticed a few format changes. I used to watch HDNews quite a bit, but I admit that I don't watch it as often since one of our local broadcasters started their own HD news last years. Anyway, it looks like they added a Hi-Def Highlight of the day (Sports), a "Today's Birthdays" brief after the weather, and what appears to be world news round-up in three screens with a scrolling High Definition News banner.
How long they been doing this? Personally, it gives the broadcast a little more polished feel IMO; I like the changes...I'm not sure if others will agree.
