Hell on Wheels - on AMC

After watching/recording The Walking Dead, you might want to stick around Sunday night and watch/record Hell on Wheels - a new series from AMC.

Here's a quote from AMC's site :

"Hell on Wheels" – a contemporary western about post-Civil War America that focuses on a Confederate soldier who sets out to exact revenge on the Union soldiers who have killed his wife.

The clips I've seen look pretty good.

Unfortunately, its getting panned by the critics. There is a lot of good TV on right now, so a show has to be really good to stay on my DVR schedule.

Thats good to know. "The Killing" had absolutely terrible PQ. I will check it out today.

One thing I recommend if you have Dish, pad the end of the timer by a minute or two... it cut off the end, my Directv dvr did not as the timer was for 8:00 pm till 9:01 pm my time 1:01 total ...

AMC VOD has 3 extras available in SD for both Dish & Directv ... The one on weapons is interesting as is the talk with the cast.

I'm getting bored, fast. Does not seem to know where it wants to go, IMO. Getting tired of the Irish brothers/clowns.

Not bored at all here, last episode developed some of the other characters some more, made it a little broader show imho... only downer, he had to shoot his horse.
