I hope someone will tell me this is posible. I have a 1000.4 ............. in Cartersville, Ga. 30120,............... and I can't get 61.5 , because of trees . Is it posible to use a 1000.2 or a 500 to get 61.5, and switch it with a DPP44 switch or the plus port on the 1000.4 Lnb ? ................and if I can use a 1000.2 , will it give me a better quality picture, than the 500 ?

I would apreciate any advice or help. :)

Oh yea, I have a VIP722k receiver

Yes, you can do that with a 500 going into the LNB input of your 1000.4. Just cover up the 61.5 LNB on the 1000.4 with AL foil unless the signal is really/truly zero on all transponders on 61.5 on your 1000.4.

You can't use a 1000.2 to get 61.5. Now you might be able to use a 500 to get 61.5, but it has to have line of sight to the satellite. If you can find a place to get all three eastern arc sats, you can move your dish there....

Thanks for the help guys..................but i have another question, ....................what kind of lnb do I need on the 500, DPP or DP,........or does it matter? Thanks :)

You want a DP dual or single. One side of a DP twin might work. A DPP anything going into the 1000.4 is a bad idea.
