I have a Dish 6000 that I recently hooked up to my Sony 1270 projector. The picture from the RGB or component outputs of the 6000 are dark and lack "punch" even after adjusting the brightness and contrast on the projector. Is there any "internal" level adjustments for the HD outputs on the 6000? I am confident that the issues is with the 6000 because my progressive output DVD player looks great, and so does the output from my computer.

I have tried a component to RGB transcoder (the 1270 accepts only RGB), and the effect is the same. I have swapped cables all around, so this can be eliminated.

Any suggestions are welcome! Thanks!!

Any news concerning the 522 available to all customers??
