Help with my VIP722 - is it dead?

I recently moved to another house that has Dish already installed. I hooked my VIP722(k??) up but it would not turn on. Nothing, no fan or lights - nothing. I have simply pushed the power button under the front cover and tried holding it in for 5, 10, 15, & over 30 seconds. Still nothing Prior to moving it, I turned it off, removed the power and waited around 15 minutes prior to disconnecting it.

I have also disconnected it, set it on the counter and tried to power it up and still nothing. Tried it through a surge protector and connected directly to an outlet. Still nothing.

Did my receiver die?

Yup, TV was on and connected to the power strip I was using. I tested it on another outlet that I had just used to grind my coffee. So, I know both power sources work.
