I recently moved to another house that has Dish already installed. I hooked my VIP722(k??) up but it would not turn on. Nothing, no fan or lights - nothing. I have simply pushed the power button under the front cover and tried holding it in for 5, 10, 15, & over 30 seconds. Still nothing Prior to moving it, I turned it off, removed the power and waited around 15 minutes prior to disconnecting it.

I have also disconnected it, set it on the counter and tried to power it up and still nothing. Tried it through a surge protector and connected directly to an outlet. Still nothing.

Did my receiver die?

Unfortunately, it does sound like the receiver has died. Please private message me your account or phone number as well as the 4 Digit Security Code you created.
