HELP with my xbox and Sony HDTV

Hey guys,

I just got an xbox with the HD adapter. I have the xbox set to 1080i, but their is this high pitched sound and when someone talks in the game the screen has lines going through it.

I have messed with the audio settings and the different resolutions...any suggestions???

Did you make sure your dashboard in Xbox is set to allow 1080i?

yeah, i set it to widescreen and 1080i...the dashboard is just the settings area right?

what kind of sony are you using? if you are using one of their lcd models that is 788p, i have mine sent to accept all signals and have not had any problem with it.

i got it, the wire was not in all the way....careless mistake!
