The 625 is not a VIP as VIP stands for Video over Internet Protocol and the 625 can only do phone connection, btw. Eastern Arc is Mpeg4 only, 625 only offers mpeg2

625 won't work on Eastern Arc so it can't be added to an existing EA system. Many EA locations can see the Western Arc so it could be used with a dedicated WA system.

I'm sure if the OP needs to be on EA, that Dish will supply the necessary equipment. Of course if he just happens to have the 625 lying around and wants to install it hisself, he can do WA.
