Why are the readings on these channels in the 90's today? I normally have them in the 40's and 50's, and this morning - 90+! Then, in the afternoon, 70's, now, back up. RTPi, on the other hand, is a steady 48, as always. Some other channels on this very satellite are always close to 100... is there an explanation for these fluctuations?

Maybe different power levels used at the uplinks? Or varying weather conditions...
They are up there pretty good like you say though, today. I don't usually have any trouble with any of those channels on AMC4 unless its really hard rain here.
