I am going to be returning my Hopper 3 and reinstalling my 211K.

How do I rewire the the Hybrid LNB to work with my 211K?

Thanks

You need to replace the LNBF with a DPP. The one you have now is DPH, then bypass the Solo Hub

I haven't tried it yet but I think I remember reading that a Hybrid LNB is backwards compatible and will work with DPP equipment. I'll have to check it out one of these days.

It may be, but there may be a tuner issue. I know I've done VIP upgrades to Hoppers, changed the LNB and when I went in the house, Live TV was showing on the VIP

That brings up a question I've always wondered about. Is there a risk of damaging the lnb if disconnecting or reconnecting the lnb while the receiver is on?

I was able to swap receivers, got my 211K installed and didn't need to replace the DHP. It works just fine.

Thanks!

If there is any risk, it hasn't done any damage in any of the several hundred times I've connected a live coax to my DPP LNB's.
