I've looked through the forums and haven't seen any postings on this particular issue.

I have timers set to keep X number of recordings for a particular show. The Hopper seems to completely ignore this setting.

For example:

On my Hopper 3:

I have it set to record Castle on ABC (keep 20) & TNT (keep 20). Logically, this would keep 40 recordings, max. I have 57 recordings on my Hopper.

Last Man Standing on ABC (keep 20). I have 37.
Duck Dynasty (keep 20). I have 25.
The Big Bang Theory on CBS (keep 20) and on TBS (keep 20). I have 69.

On my parents' Hopper 3:

Local news (keep 6). They have 9.
Castle on TNT (keep 20). They have 38.

I did backup the recordings from the old Hoppers and transfer them to the new ones; however, the the old Hoppers were exhibiting the same behavior. For example, Last Man Standing has not aired any episodes on ABC since the Hopper 3 was installed, so all 37 recordings came over from the old Hopper. It also was set to only keep 20, and only record the airings on ABC.

My parents' Hopper 3 was installed on Sunday. Mine was installed on Monday.

Anybody else seeing this kind of behavior?
