Hopper 3 OTA DVR Playback Intermittent

Hello,
I have a new Hopper 3, and when view OTA live, there is no intermittent issues, playback is smooth. But, if I record that same show and view it back through the DVR, I get a lot of pixelation and audio distortion. I have good signal strength on 129 and have complete a hard reboot on the system. Still the same issue. Just do not understand why in live mode viewing is fine and playback would be any different? Does not seem to matter if weather is good or bad, same issue.

This is a known issue and a fix is being worked on.

Well, Scott says we should see something in a month, but I've been waiting for the fix since February. I think this pushes the limits of being reasonable.

But, hey! At least the OTA dongle doesn't burst into flames!

Maybe the next one will! It could be built by Samsung, you know. Maybe they'll call it the Notable Dongle 7.
