Out here somewhere
Current setup is 1000.4 (EA) with a DPP LNBF to a DPP44 switch. I have a HWS and SJ running off a solo node and integrator. This setup allows me to setup/activate my 211K when I want to.
I know that a while back I had a wiring diagram that showed me how to run a Hopper 3 and a joey off from the DPP44 (while maintaining my 211K) but for the life of me I can't find it to see what I need if I decide to upgrade from the HWS/SJ to a H3/Joey3.
Anyone know where that job aid diagram is found?
Thanks, Gerry

Three wires from the dish to a DPH42. Then one wire to the hub for the Hopper 3 and Joey and one wire to the 211K.

JSheridan, thanks for the reply! It looks like I need a solo hub on the output of the DPH42. From what I see the wiring would be:
1. 3 wires from 1000.4 to inputs on DPH42
2. Power inserter on output port 1 of DPH and hook 211K to that.
3. Wire from port 2 of the DPH42 to the ODU (?) port on solo hub.
4. Wire from client port of hub output to H3 and another wire from the other client port of hub to Joey 3
Does the "to host" port on the solo hub have to be terminated (i don't think so)?

Thanks for you help! Gerry

That looks correct right up to the hub connections. The Host port gets the Hopper 3 connection, Client port for the Joey and terminate the other Client port.

You're welcome and good luck. :)

Here's what I have.

Thank You for the diagram! It looks like (according to JSheridan) that I can remove the DPP44 and just use the DPH42 and a solo hub. This would give me one output for a 211k..
I don't think the 211 will work off the DPH 42 Switch. a 211 is a DPP receiver, not Hybrid

I had a customer tell me he was successfully using a 211K on a DPH42.

I just connected an unactivated 211K to a Hybrid LNB and here's the switch test. It also downloaded the guide and is playing picture and sound on channel 101.

Oh, wow, I didn't think it would show up as Hybrid. I figured it would be that DP Other or something. Well I stand corrected
