Hopper 3 work with Winegard Pathway X2?

Need to install Dish satellite in my RV. Can my home Hopper 3 work with a Winegard Pathfinder X2?

No. Doesn’t have the software to control it. Not expected to ever have the software.

Only the Dish Wally and older VIP 211 series receivers work with the X2 or any other dome style auto aiming dish. The H3 requires a full face multi-satellite dish like the Winegard Trav'ler roof mounted auto-aiming dish or a tripod mounted manually aimed dish. Either one needs to be configured as a hybrid LNB device.
